Conversation to Contract Staff: Upon Meeting KPI Performance.

Reports To: Uganda Country Director Mr. Collins Otim

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team in Eastern Africa. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Congo. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, partners, and new business opportunities in the Eastern Africa region.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase the company’s market share and revenue in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Congo.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Sales: Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing deals, including negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local and international companies to enhance business growth.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s brand and expand its network.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Eastern Africa region.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the business landscape in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Congo.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
